About me...

My name is Annabel Folkerts, I am 27 years young. I am currently a student at a university of applied sciences; I am studying to be a nurse.

My sweetheart, called Matti J. Vänttinen, is 25 years young, a Finnish native, and currently employed to keep the busy central station at Utrecht tidy and organised, while working hard to learn Dutch. My love and I met some 4 years ago over the internet, a year ago Matti moved to Holland so we could live together and 3 months ago we decided to get married, on 15th of June 2012. I live with my sweetheart in the wonderful Dutch town Utrecht, where I also go to university.

Not only me and my sweety live in this house but also a cat called Mustis, a goldfish named Bob and 6 guineapigs called Jaina, Diva, Vashj, Frodo, Brann and Stumperdje. As you can see, one of my hobbies are my animals! I have a weak spot in my heart for guinea pigs. Besides my animals I really enjoy my plants, even though I only have a small balcony. In our free time we enjoy playing computer games together, visiting museums(mostly natural history ones) and watching films. I fancy myself to be a bit of an amateur geologist and nothing makes me happier than watching documentaries about this subject.

Last but not least, I really adore cooking! From creme brulee to quiche, I love spending time in the kitchen.
